Police question youth in connection with La Popular robbery

By. BBN Staff: A 17-year-old boy is being interrogated by Belize City Police for a broad daylight 10710558_801377646576611_5947587172040246402_nrobbery at La Popular Bakery located at the corner of Logwood and Sarstoon Street in the old capital.

On Monday, twenty-seven-year-old Adelita Ocompo, a cashier at the bakery reported to police that two armed men entered the establishment and robbed her of $150 in cash and stole a Samsung Galaxy phone valued at $900 from her assistant.

Ocompo added that the culprits then exited the building and made good their escape. Fortunately no one was injured.
