OW police seek man for $7,000 theft

BBN Staff: Orange Walk Police are currently looking for Urbano Benedicto Vasquez for questioning in connection with a theft. 

24-year-old Adelina Juchim from the village of San Jose in the Orange Walk District, reported to police that on Monday June 20, around 11:00 a.m. she made a land transaction for the amount of $30, 000 and in advanced she received $7,000 of which she kept inside her grey ladies sling bag inside her room.

According to Juchim, she went to the kitchen to cook, leaving Vasquez inside the house, however, Vasquez took the $7,000 from the purse and ran away.

Orange Walk Police are seeking public assistance in locating the whereabouts of Vasquez. Anyone with information is asked to contact the nearest police station.
