Belize City police investigating latest murder

By BBN Staff: Today there are more questions than answers for a family mourning the untimely death of a loved one.

Thirty-one-year-old Jeovanie Gentle was gunned down on July 2 a little after 1:00 a.m. while riding his bike at the corner of Regent Street and Thurton Lane.

According to initial investigations, Gentle was riding when a lone gunman came from behind and fired several shots in his direction causing injuries to his upper body and head.

Gentle was pronounced dead at 3:15 at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating.
