Police nab suspects wanted for Income Tax robbery

By BBN Staff: On Friday the department of Income tax was robbed just before closing time. New information reaching our news room is that all suspects are in police custody.

According to police reports, a joint team of uniform officers and MIT visited an area behind Another World in the vicinity of Roaring Creek Village, Cayo district which resulted in the recovery of a 9-millimeter pistol with 13 live rounds and a .38 revolver with four live rounds, property of the Police Department, which was stolen from the police at the time of the robbery.

Belmopan Police have since detained two individuals pending investigations.
