By BBN Staff: Belmopan police are warning residents to be vigilant as there is information to suggest that there is a group of 3 to 4 men going around pretending to be staff members of BWS and BEL.

According to police, the men claim that they are there to render service on how to change energy-saving bulbs and installing shower caps to save water for free as part of a government lay down program.

Once inside the men rob home owners at gun point. They have been seen in several areas.

The police department advises the public to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station and to keep all doors and windows well secured.
