Man murdered in Hattieville

By BBN Staff: One man was detained on Saturday pending charges of murder and police are looking for another following a chopping incident that left Yovany Armando Rosales dead.

The 44-year-old is reported to have been drinking with his co-workers at a construction site in Tropical Park, Hattieville Village where he worked. At some point he got into an argument with one of the men who subsequently inflicted chop wounds to Rosales’ shoulders and the back of his head.

Rosales, a Honduran of mile 14 1/2 on the George Price Highway was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital morgue.

Police have detained a Guatemalan national of Old Hattieville Village and are seeking another man believed to be of Melchor de Mencos Guatemala.
