Cayo police investigate $13,000 burglary

By BBN Staff: Police officers in the Cayo District are currently investigating a burglary in the village of Unitedville.

Rudolph Clarke, 67, reported to police that on the 4th of August while he was out of the country he received information that someone had broken into his home.

Clarke reported that 3 TV sets, 1 Stereo and other electronic appliances and tools all to a total value of $13,640 were stolen from his home.

Police reminds the general public that purchasing stolen items is a crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the nearest police station or call 911 crime stoppers.
