Republic of China gifts Belize US $100,000 for Hurricane relief

By BBN Staff: On Friday H.E Ambassador Benjamin Ho presented a check for US $100, 000 towards hurricane relief efforts.

The check was handed over to government officials in a short ceremony. H.E. Ambassador Ho expressed his “delight in seeing the resilience and solidarity of the government and people of Belize in the aftermath of the storm”, said a government press release.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Carla Barnett and two other government officials received the donation on behalf of the Government and extended Belize’s gratitude for the gesture.
