Annual San Joaquin Fiesta in Corozal ends in death

By BBN Staff: A man’s body was discovered on Monday morning at the venue of the San Joaquin Fiesta in San Joaquin Village in the Corozal district.

Villagers found the corpse around 6:00 in the morning. The body was identified as Basilio Patt, 32, a resident of San Narciso Village also in the Corozal District.

Authorities in Corozal are investigating the matter and have reported that there were no visible signs of violence on the body.

The San Joaquin Fiesta is an annual event and was held over the weekend.
