One charged for illegal firearm

By BBN Staff: Peter Portillo Jr., 28, has been formally arrested and charged for the crime of ‘keeping a firearm without a gun license’. 

Police reports are that on August 21 sometime between noon, officers were conducting patrol when their attention was drawn to Portillo where a search was conducted on him.

While conducting the search police discovered 1 silver .38 Smith & Wesson revolver with serial number BSD 2082, a black hand grip and five .38 live rounds.

Portillo couldn’t produce a firearm license and was formally arrested and charged for the offence.
