House burglarized in Orange Walk, thieves take $4,000 in cash

By BBN Staff: Police in Orange Walk are investigating a burglary that happened yesterday in the Louisiana area of Orange Walk.

According to reports, Ettienne Hutchinson, 33, of Savannah Street, Louisiana area, reported  to police that between the hours of 1:00 and 8:30 p.m. on September 18, his house was burglarized.

The thieves stole $4,000 in cash, a 13″ Mac Book valued at $3,000, a pair of white Jordan brand tennis shoes valued at $120 and two pairs of red Nautica brand tennis shoes valued at $240, all to a total value of $7,360.

Police have one person detained and are looking for another as investigations continue.
