Remembering Danny, fallen soldier

By BBN Staff: The family of Danny Conorquie, the Special Constable that was murdered two years ago at the Caracol archealogical site, is hosting an event as a tribute to Conorquie.

It is a two day event and it is being held in Georgeville on Saturday September 24 and Sunday September 25 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The theme for the event is “Remembering Danny, fallen soldier”.

The event includes football marathons, a bicycle race and other family activities.

Today, marks two years since he was murdered and the killers have not yet been caught.

This year, Conorquie was named a Belizean patriot and posthumously awarded for contributions to public safety and security.
