Police issue report on Belcan Bridge fire

By BBN Staff:The police have issued a report on the fire that was lit on the Belcan bridge on Monday October 3.

Police say that officers saw several tires on the bridge engulfed in flames and that the incident caused hindrance to the free passage of traffic which was delayed for a long period of time.

On Tuesday, their investigations let to the arrest of a 16 and a 17-year-old minor along with 23-year-old Adrian Avaloy of Belize City for the offense of “Setting fire”.

Today, police arrested and charged 33-year-old Giovanni Brackett and 30-year-old Clayburn Pascacio both of Belize City jointly for “Cause a Bonfire to be set”.
