By BBN Staff:The Public Service Union (PSU) was one of the unions that supported Government’s decision for a delay in the payment of the 3 percent increase. The PSU and the APSSM both supported government whilst the BNTU rejected that proposal.

This decision has created a division among these unions and the PSU has not shown support to the BNTU.

The PSU has now commenced a national consultation with their membership to decide on their next move.

The President of the Public Service Union, Eldred Neal, told CTV 3 news that these consultations are to get feedback from membership where the are in terms of national issues.

He urged the parties involved to go back to the negotiating table to iron out these issues.

This week, Cabinet sent out a release calling on all three parties to return to the negotiating table.
