Another shooting in Belize City; One man shot to the left foot

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man, Darren Young, was shot last night on the south side of Belize City.

Young was shot to the left foot at the corner of Elston Kerr and Antelope St.

Police information is at this time limited but Young has been listed in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

ACP Chester Williams will be providing more details to the media later today.

News archives reveal that as far back as 1998 Young had survived an attack on his life and escaped from a gunman uninjured.
