Two men try to rape male coast guard in Ladyville

By BBN Staff: A male Belizean coast guard was almost raped by two men in Ladyville early this morning.

According to police reports, the coast guard was invited to the residence of the two men in Ladyville and then the trio began to drink alcohol.

At around 12:30 a.m. on Monday the two men attempted to rape the coast guard.

The two accused men had already taken out items to tie down and restrain the coast guard; however, he managed to fight them off with a machete and chisel in which his both alleged perpetrators were seriously wounded to the head.

The coast guard then drove to the Ladyville Police Station to lodge a complaint.

Later on the two accused men covered in blood were transported to the station by one of their relatives.

The two men are now receiving medical treatment and police are yet to lay any charges as investigations remain ongoing.
