Woman shot in Belize City

By BBN Staff:  Last night at around 9:22 p.m. police visited the KHMH where officers observed 33-year-old Davaney Flowers, a Belizean cook of a Belize City address suffering from a gunshot wound to the left thigh.

Initial investigation reveals that Flowers was riding her bicycle on King Street and upon reaching Euphrates Avenue she observed two men riding a motor cycle that approached her and pointed a firearm towards her before firing several shots in her direction causing her injuries.

Police investigation continues.
