Ministry of Health to improve monitoring of health facilities

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health is moving towards improving the monitoring of health facilities to maintain the highest standards for clients who access the health services they offer.

On Tuesday, November 15, Minister of Health Pablo Marin and Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development Hugo Patt signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of improving the monitoring and control of peddling activities in Belize.

Prior to the granting of trade license, the facility including clinic, pharmacy, imaging services, nutrient store etc. should hold a Ministry of Health permit/license to ensure it meets minimal Public Health Standards and other Safety standards.
