By BBN Staff: A total of one hundred and six standard six students from Santa Elena Primary School today graduated from the Gang Resistance Education and Training (GREAT) Program.

Present at the ceremony were representatives from the United States Embassy, GREAT Program evaluators from the United States, Cpl. Ciriaco Medina of the community policing unit and Sgt. Cirilo Coh representing the Officer Commanding of the San Ignacio Police.

The students were enthused and proud as they were declared GREAT Graduates. They were encouraged by Cpl. Medina to make the right choices in life and to choose to be GREAT.

The Vice Principal, Deborah Reneau thanked the officers and sponsors for choosing Santa Elena primary for the program. She said that students really benefited from the program and requested that the initiative continue at the school.
