PM shakes up Cabinet again

By BBN Staff: Prime Minister Dean Barrow announced his third Cabinet reshuffle since winning his third term in November 2015.

The latest reshuffle will now see Barrow taking control of the Ministry of Natural Resources, which includes the Land Department.

Vanessa Retreage has resigned as Minister of Natural Resources and Attorney General.

Michael Peyreffitte will leave his post as speaker of the House of Representatives and will take up the role of Attorney General.

The Minister of Police portfolio will be transferred to Wilfred Elrington via the Home Affairs Ministry and he also keep his post as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Elodio Aragon will remain the Minister of State in the Home Affairs ministry.

Dr. Carla Barnett will also assume a role as Minister of State in the Ministry of Natural resources.
