Woman shot to death in Santa Elena

By BBN Staff: A woman was shot just before 8 pm tonight in Santa Elena town, Cayo.

She received gun shoot wounds to the left side of her body.

The victim was rushed to the San Ignacio hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The incident occurred at a residence near the Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena.

According to the police the gunshot wounds were inflicted by a lone gunman. Police are currently at the scene investigating.
