By BBN Staff: On Sunday night a gunman emptied his clip on a 61-year-old grandmother of 29 in her home and in front of her grandchildren. Still, no arrests have been made in the case.
Police are unable to locate the suspected gunman, who is alleged to have been closely acquainted with Paulina Urbelina Suarez, the deceased.
Preliminary police information suggests that the suspect may have fled to a neighboring country. Police say a thorough investigation needs to be done at the borders.
Santa Elena police told BBN that Suarez was killed because of an alleged land dispute with one of her children who wanted ownership of her house and land. Police have also been unable to locate the child with whom Suarez had the dispute.
Police have not released further details of the men wanted in connection with the disturbing crime. More details as they emerge.
