Round 2 – BNTU hunkers down, Education Ministry digs in

By BBN Staff: Today, the Ministry of Education issued a public service announcement informing parents, teachers and students that classes will resume on January 3, 2017.

In their release, the Ministry explained that the school calendar has been adjusted to accommodate a total of 6 days for the 11 days lost due to the teacher’s industrial action.

The Ministry stressed that four days will be taken: January 3-6 2017, and 2 days on April 10-11 2017.

The release ended by urging teachers and students to report to classes on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
