Breaking: Another man killed in Belize City; 5th murder of 2017

By BBN Staff: The dangerous streets of the old capital have claimed another life.

The fifth murder is only three days of the New Year 2017 and the victim has been identified as Bert Abraham also known as “Birdie”.

Reports are that Abraham was shot a short while ago in the Holy Emmanuel area of Belize City.

Information to BBN is that there seems to be an ongoing war between the PIV and Backalands groups both of the Lake Independence area in Belize City.

The latest murder is believed to be a retaliation of the murder of Randolph Johnson who is an associate of the Backalands group.

Police are currently at the scene.
