By BBN Staff: The government of Belize is currently in the process of searching for a new consul to the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico to replace former consul, Jorge Valencia.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wilfred Elrington the government has made the decision to appoint a new consul to represent the country. Valencia’s post was terminated in December. Elrington said the government has thanked Valencia for his six years of service.
Elrington said that no decision has been made in regards to Valencia’s replacement but a decision should come soon.
