Belize City men rob bar in Orange Walk at gun point

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, Monday night around 11:00 p.m., two male persons entered the Black and White Bar on Fonseca Street in Orange Walk where they robbed the establishment using a firearm and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

Quick police response led to the detention of 22-year-old Jamal Elijio of a Flamboyant Street address in Belize City who had in his possession a magazine loaded with fifteen 9 mm rounds and $115.00. Elijio’s accomplice escaped.

Elijio was escorted to the police station pending charges as investigations continue.
