Belize City man arrested for keeping ammo and gun without license

By BBN Staff:Yesterday at around 1:34 p.m., while police were conducting patrols on Iguana Street in Belize City they intercepted 21-year-old Kadeem Omar Anderson of a Curassow address who was riding his bicycle on Curassow Street, and upon seeing the police he jumped off his bicycle and ran into a yard and threw an object over the fence.

He was apprehended and taken to where the object was thrown where police recovered a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver with wooden handle and loaded with six live rounds of ammunition.

Police have since arrested and charged Kadeem Anderson for the offence of “keeping ammunition and  firearm without a gun license”.
