By Charles Leslie Jr.: NOT BY FORCE

It is important that you understand, that your country was not sold out by force…

…it was sold out by men and women who wanted quick access to wealth and power and not producing and creating anything.

The two-party system that has dominated Belize has long become a monolithic abomination. It is now simply an institution used to give you the illusion of choice and self-determination.

This institution, however, does not serve you, and you do not own it. It is owned by international special interest groups and managed and operated by Belizeans THEY CHOOSE!…

…and they choose Belizeans based on their willingness to sell out your country and you, the people, for wealth and power.

IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT

Your support of this system is not wrong. It is not your fault. It is what you were given – as I said, an illusion of choice and self-determination.

If you truly love Belize, and I know you do, you will realize that to fix Belize requires a leap outside this obsolete box of stagnation and hopelessness and a step forward in creating something brand new.

I believe that most of you have or are close to realizing this truth. I also know that it is unclear to you the way forward, and uncertainty has formed in your minds and hearts.

THE FEELING IS NATURAL

Trust and hope in your political leaders, the political system and your government, have died.

This feeling of confusion, loss of hope and purpose, is natural. It is a part of the process of waking up to truth.

INDIVIDUAL EFFORT + INDIVIDUAL EFFORT = COLLECTIVE EFFORT

For Belize to change, where you know it is easily capable of serving all Belizeans, you must become a part of the change.

You have to reach the stage of acceptance, that nothing good will ever come from the established political institution and doctrine.

It is also critically important for you to understand, that only through the political process, that you can effect change to the system.

THE 5 STAGES OF GRIEF AND LOSS IS IMPORTANT

The 5 stages of grief and loss are not only a process you go through when you lose a loved one to the Grim Reaper, it is also a powerful process when you lose trust in someone/something, in this case: an established political institution and doctrine.

Understanding where you are in the 5 stages of grief and loss is important for you to understand your importance of being a part of the change Belize needs:

Stage 1: Denial and isolation – at this stage you simply can’t believe that the system you supported all your life could have caused such damage and harm to you and so many Belizeans. You start to distance yourself from truth.

Stage 2: Anger – you are angry that you have been lied to and abused by a system you trusted for so long.

stage 3: Bargaining – you believe that change can still happen under the current system, even though you know, deep down, that it never will, because it never has. It actually only got worse.

Stage 4: Depression – This is the stage I believe most of your young people are at, they have lost all confidence and hope in the entire system and its processes, and don’t think anything can be done to reverse the damage.

Stage 5: Acceptance – this is the most important stage you need to reach. It is at this stage you accept that it is your responsibility to change the system.

Now, each of you will go through these 5 stages, however, it may not be in the order I listed. Some of you will phase in and out and back and forth between each stage. Don’t be afraid, God will guide you.

BELIZE IS IN THE FINAL STAGES OF BEING LOST

Belize is in the final stages of being taken over and taken away from you.

It was never meant to be by the bullet. It was always a slow, careful economic take over: the Camel’s Nose tactic.

The money manipulators have long realized that once they place you and your nation in enough usury debt, they can take away your home, business, the clothes from your back and even your country, and you will not resist because they have convinced you, through the political system they created and control, that you deserve it…

…but you, nor your kids, nor the nation of your fellow peaceful Belizeans do not deserve such orchestrated, insidious, perilous fate of debt slavery.

Belize is in such financial perils, that losing your country for good, is inevitable under the current leadership and stewardship of the monolithic political system and doctrine that currently controls your very existence and selling you out to the highest bidder.

Pushing Belize to the precipice of financial default is the plan. At which point there will be no discussions, debates or consultations with you about drilling for oil on the barrier reef, logging for rosewood in the Chiquibul forest, or Guatemalans gill netting the fish stock to extinction…

…you will have to give up your natural resources, pennies on the dollar, and there won’t be a thing you can do about it because then, that is where the bullet will come in.

Resistance will be branded as terrorism, and the police state that has been set up over the past decade will swiftly suppress and exterminate, where necessary…

…see, at this point in time, your ranting and making noise on Facebook, radio shows and elsewhere, is just that to them…noise…

…what they fear most is for you to come out and actually flex your muscle by registering to vote and voting their minions completely out of office!

OUR ONLY CHANCE

You still have a real chance to save your Belize.

I know so many of you have become jaded and disenchanted with the political process – I was there – however, I realized that my individual participation and sacrifice was necessary to be a part of the collective liberation of Belize and Belizeans…

…individual effort + individual effort = collective effort.

As long as there is life, there is hope. As long as there is hope, there is life. Individually, we can. Collectively, we will…save Belize.

Meritocracy, pragmatism, transparency, accountability and responsibility.
