National Council on Ageing celebrates 14th Anniversary

By BBN Staff: Today marks the 14th anniversary of the National Council on Ageing which was first established in 2003 following Cabinet approval.

Events to commemorate the anniversary will begin on February 7th at the Belmopan Market Square with a flash mob featuring various supporters to showcase the talents, creativity and youthfulness of older persons.

On February 9th the council will have an anniversary review in Belize where it will evaluate its progress as it continues to press for older persons to be a part of the National Agenda.

BBN commends the National Council on Ageing for its commitments to those who have served our country before us.
