Civil servants for most parts have proven themselves to be a shameless set of scavengers, who are mostly thieves just like the ministers who are their bosses. These people have shown that they will stop at nothing when it comes to getting by by ill-gotten gains. Many of them have made their work environment extremely uncomfortable for the fellow employees who wants to good by their fellow Belizeans. The kind of illegal practices that Miss Castellanos stated was happening in the Immigration Department has been occurring in the government departments for ages now. One cannot even start to quantum the extent of the corruption that has likewise existed in the Lands Department, nor can anyone put a cap on the total amount of monies crooked government workers have deprived their fellow Belizeans of throughout the years through their illegal and underhanded endeavors. The integrity of the entire civil service put together should be in question after today. It is an effing shame! Shame, shame, shame! Individuals like Patrick Tillett should be compelled to appear in front of the Senate Inquiry Committee.
