Former Chief Education Officer passes away

By BBN Staff:Former Chief Education Officer during the previous People’s United Party administration, Dr. Cecil “Chubby” Reneau, suffered a fatal heart attack this afternoon.

The 67-year-old educator and politician lived his life in service to his country.

Readers will recall that he challenged then sitting UDP Mayor, Zenaida Moya, during the 2009 Belize City Municipal Election.
