Mile 8 man lucky to be alive

By BBN Staff: Last night around 8:30,  25-year-old Nigel Williams of a Faber’s Road address had just left a grocery shop at mile 8 on the George Price Highway and was walking towards his aunt’s home near the Hydro area on the highway when he noticed that he was being followed by three men.

He started to run towards his aunt’s home when one of the men shot at him, one of which caught him in his right thigh.

He escaped from them by running in a swampy area and managed to reach his aunt’s home.

Police investigations continue.
