Police issues official report on second murder in San Ignacio Town; victim still unidentified

By BBN Staff:According to police reports, on Monday, February 20, 2017 about 6:00 a.m., police visited 1^st Street in San Ignacio Town where they saw a male person of dark complexion lying on his back in the middle of the street with an apparent gunshot to the head.

The body was taken to the San Ignacio Community hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The name of the victim has not yet been ascertained nor is the motive.

The public is asked if they have any information concerning this other murder to contact the nearest police station.
