By BBN Staff: The new Belizean Cheaters craze on Facebook has gained so much traction that police are reportedly currently investigating a report from a mother that a nude picture of her underage daughter was maliciously posted to one of the several cheaters groups.

The groups seemingly sprang up over the weekend and soon built a large online following. When the first page was apparently reported to Facebook and later closed, other Belizean Cheaters pages began being opened with the latest being the 4th edition of the now notorious cheaters group. There are also reportedly Belizean Cheaters chat groups on Facebook and on Whatsapp.

The groups are littered with slanderous and explicit material including nude pictures of many men, women and in some instances, even minors. There have been many allegations made in the group about ordinary citizens, prominent figures and even a certain dancehall artist who recently performed in Belize. Facebook has been roaring since the pages first popped up, with many looking for someone to hold accountable.

The unproven claims on the pages have undoubtedly enraged not only the people targeted in the posts but also the lovers and spouses of those called out for being unfaithful. The platform, however, allows for complete fabrication and defamation of character. There are reports that cases of domestic abuse have followed as a result of the scandalous claims made on the cheaters pages.

It remains to be seen what action, if any, will be taken by either the police or relevant authorities to try and protect the victims of cyber bullying from ongoing and future attacks.

This is awesome, hoping they are caught and dealt with accordingly. If they find out who it is, I myself will also press charges for defamation and slander because I myself was a victim of that page. Keep us updated, thanks!
