Gun man injures 3 in Caye Caulker over the weekend

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning around 12:23, Raul McFarlane of Bahia area, Caye Caulker reported to police that upon reaching near Island Oasis located on Xocol Street, Caye Caulker Village, with his common-law wife Camille Munnings and his friend Akeem Garcia, they were attacked by a gun man who had a rag over his face.

The gun man fired several shots towards them.

McFarlane received gunshot injuries to his left upper back and left leg.

Garcia, 29, also of Bahia area received gunshot injuries to his left leg and left lower back.

Garcia’s common law wife, Camille Munnings, 29, received a gunshot injury to her left upper shoulder.

The three of them were transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (K.H.M.H) in Belize City.

McFarlane and Garcia remain in a stable condition. However,

Munnings is in a critical condition.

Police are investigating.
