Customs officials confiscate as many as 15 vehicles in northern Belize

By BBN Staff: According to 7 News Belize, customs officials (CS) in the north have confiscated 15 vehicles in the last three weeks.

On February 27, CS caught a Silver Nissan Pathfinder at the Santa Cruz landing with 45 cases of biscuits and ten cases sweets. A minor and an adult were inside the vehicle.

On March 3, around 10 pm, while CS were on river patrols in the Rio Hondo, they intercepted an aluminum 15 foot skiff, loaded with 25 cases of Suprerior beers,1 case Corona beer and 6 cases 3 litre sized soft drinks.
