Southwest starts flying directly from Denver to Belize Tomorrow

By BBN Staff:Starting tomorrow, Southwest Airlines will be flying nonstop to Belize City from Denver, Colorado, USA.

The new service will run from March 11 to April 22, 2017. Flights will leave Denver International Airport at 10:30 a.m. every Saturday and arrive in Belize City at 2:50 p.m. local time.

The weekly flights will be on planes that have 143 seats.

According to Southwest Airlines, travel from Denver to Belize City has increased in the past several years with more than 13,000 passengers traveling to Belize last year – an increase of 50% since 2013.

This new Southwest flight will be seasonal since the highest percent of travel between Denver and Belize City occurs in March and April.

It is not yet known what the price per ticket will cost for this new service.
