Taxi man missing; vehicle found but “burnt”

By BBN Staff:Elbert Gillett, 66, a senior citizen of Belize City has been reported missing and his family now suspects the worst after his vehicle was found completely destroyed by fire.

Yesterday evening a man also went to the Caribbean Shores Police Station and handed over Gillett’s driver’s license. The man told police that he found it somewhere in Ladyville.

Gillett left home on Tuesday night at 11:00 and has not been seen since.

He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a button down shirt and dress pants.
