Sixteen-year-old girl reported missing

By BBN Staff:  According to police reports, last night around 10:03, a 55-year-old grandmother of George Price Street reported that her granddaughter Mekaya Suazo, 16, left home from the same address on Saturday en route to Belize City, where she was to stay at a particular residence.

However, when she inquired about her granddaughter at that residence, she was told that she did not arrive at that location.

Suazo is about 5′ 1″ in height, has dark brown eyes, weighs about 100 lbs, black hair and has in cornrows.

Suazo was last seen wearing an off shoulder colorful flower blouse, light blue jean long pants and an orange pair of sandal. She also has a tattoo with stars near her ankle.

Police are investigating.
