San Pedro woman dies while waiting for flight to Belize City

By BBN Staff: A San Pedro woman was scheduled to arrive in Belize City yesterday for medical treatment but she never made it.

According to police reports, Jordanie Olivera, 23, was complaining of shortness of breath and collapsed inside Tropic Air’s Airstrip in San Pedro while waiting for her flight to Belize City.

Olivera was then rushed to a Polyclinic nearby and was pronounced dead on arrival.

It has been reported that she began feeling ill and was complaining of pain as she had recently conducted a surgery.

She was to travel to Belize City for further medical treatment.
