By BBN Staff: Caye Caulker resident, Camille Munnings, was shot to the head and placed in a coma last week.

However, doctors are seeking to get her out of the coma naturally by weekend even though a bullet is still lodged in her brain.

When she regains consciousness, doctors will examine her brain to determine the damages and will decide if they should remove the bullet or not.

While Munnings remains hospitalized, she continues to rack up medical fees.

As a result her family will be holding a barbeque in Belize City on Saturday to raise money to cover medical expenses.

The sale will be on Central American Boulevard across from Gadgets.
