By BBN Staff: A team building session was held for female police officers in Belize City this week.  Special Envoy for Women and Children, Kim Simplis Barrow, participated in the session.

Barrow addressed a congregation of female police officers.

During her address, Barrow touched on a number of issues affecting women including cyber-bullying and its related stigma and discrimination.

The two-day event was headed by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dezerie Phillips.

The event was one of many that took place across the country in hopes of building unity and encouraging positivity among women within the department.
