By BBN Staff: According to police reports, on Saturday around 4:05 a.m., San Ignacio Police were on mobile patrol on Bullet Tree road when their attention was drawn to 26-year-old Melvin Ray Charles Budna, a labourer of San Ignacio, who threw away a black bag upon seeing the police.
Budna was escorted to the area where police retrieved a black 9 mm Sig Sauer pistol containing three live 9 mm Luger GFL brand rounds.

Budna was subsequently arrested for the offenses of “kept firearm without gun license” and “kept ammunition without a gun license”.
