Posted: Tuesday, March 21, 2017. 11:12 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Earlier today, National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) Minister Edmond Castro was in the Albert Division of Belize City along with the constituency’s Area Representative, Tracy Taegar-Panton handing over houses to victims of natural disaster.

The houses were handed over in the Conch Shell Bay area.

Castro and Panton also visited Arileee Scott and her family on Prince Street, who lost their two-flat home and most of their belongings in a recent fire. They assured Scott and her family that materials to assist with rebuilding are on the way.

They were accompanied by NEMO personnel including National Emergency Coordinator, Colonel Shelton Defour and Regional Coordinator for Cayo and Belize Districts, Al Westby.
