Man detained for chopping his sister to death

By BBN Staff: Sometime before 9 o’clock last night, police in Belize City arrested Elijah Burke on New Road.

Burke had been wanted in connection with the vicious chopping of his sister on Wednesday night.

His sister, Juliane Burke, 29, was chopped multiple times by her brother and left in front of her 6 year old son.

Police have not yet charged him.
