Old San Ignacio hospital to be new location for twin towns administration building

By BBN Staff: BBN was informed today by Earl Trapp, the Mayor of the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena in the Cayo District that the old San Ignacio Hospital will be the new location for the council’s administration building.

A section of the building will also serve as a museum for the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH).

The council’s administration building was previously located in down town San Ignacio at a building that was considered unfit for operation so it was moved to the San Ignacio Commercial building where it currently operates from.
