By BBN Staff: Last night around10:45 , while police were on patrol on Flamboyant Street in Belize City, officers saw a 10-year-old minor walking alone.
He was questioned and then escorted to his father’s residence.
Simon August, a 44-year-old fisherman of a Marigold Lane address was later arrested and charged for the offense, “Allow or Suffer a Child to be in a Public Place.”
The Police Department advises that its quality of life offense campaign continues. This includes: “Public Drinking, Littering, Loitering, Bicycle Offenses,” among others.
