51 year old Sand Hill fisherman remains missing at sea

By BBN Staff: On Monday, March 20, around 2:05 p.m., police received information of a missing person.

Police visited Alligator Caye located about 20 miles south east of Belize City and spoke with Percival Flowers, 63, fisherman of Sandhill Village.

Flowers reported that on Sunday sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., 51-year-old Barrington Rosales of Sandhill Village (who was staying with him on Alligator Caye) went missing and nobody have seen him since.

Flowers indicated that he had gone fishing earlier in the evening and had left him on Alligator Caye. Checks were made in the area and when they could not locate him.

On Monday, around 6:00 a.m., a bag with clothes belonging to Rosales was found about 150 yards from the shore of Alligator Caye.

Barrington Rosales remains missing.
