Burglar gets 7 years in prison

By BBN Staff:  Alton Carr was yesterday sentenced to 7 years for burglary.

According to Belmopan police, the burglary occurred between the 18th to the 21st of April 2014.

Paulino Reyes of no. 1 Sibun Street in Belmopan reported that $2853.25 worth of appliances and cash were stolen from his residence.

Police say that Carr is a well-known offender.
