PUP blasts 2017/2018 budget

By BBN Staff: Today, Area Representative for Freetown, Francis Fonseca blasted the Government’s new 2017/2018 budget.

According to Fonseca, the new budget for the fiscal year has no real developmental projects, no new projects for development, and no manufacturing projects.

Fonseca said that the country has seen a hike in unemployment, crime, and that the productive sector is at an increased risk under the UDP Government.

Fonseca also stated that year after year the UDP has presented budgets that show no real progress for the people of Belize.

“He who feels it, knows it. The country‘s economy is suffering after eight years of UDP incompetence,” Fonseca told parliament.
